Why shouldn’t I rest my eyes? My imagination can be my guide if my eyes are tired of only seeing what my eyes can see. Biblical passages are as tangible to me as the room in which this mass was streamed. This sketch is as real as we permit it to be.
Even so – my heartfelt thanks to the parish of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, for continuing to stream these masses in a very difficult time. (Since the February 9th Chancery Notice released by the government of Hong Kong, because of the severity of the outbreak in Hong Kong, in-person masses are not only suspended, but mass cannot even be streamed from the cathedral anymore.)
